2026 will be the Competitions 21st year.

Usually, we run the GP competition over the ten GPs, with a separate (shorter) four round SEC competition. To celebrate the competition's 21st year, we will combine them (GP and SEC) into one competition, and while we're at it, let's add the three rounds of the Speedway World Cup. Therefore, the 2026 competition will include 10 GPs + 4 SECs + 3 SWC rounds, making a mega 17-round competition.

COMPETITION SCORING……

The Grand Prix World Championship scoring system awards championship points based on finishing position: 1st gets 20 points, 2nd gets 18, 3rd gets 16, 4th gets 14, down to 16th getting 1 point. This competition uses the traditional scoring method: in all 23 heats, riders score 3, 2, 1 or 0 points, which are added to each rider's total. This competition will not use the 20-18-16 points system for 1st-2nd-3rd. After each GP, the points scored by your four chosen riders are combined to give your team's score. The Speedway Speedway European Championship (SEC) uses a similar format to the Grand Prix World Championship. There are 20 heats where riders score 3, 2, 1, or 0 points. The top two scorers advance directly to the final, while 3rd to 6th compete in the last-chance Heat 21, with its 1st and 2nd joining the final. In our competition, riders in the last-chance/race-off (Heat 21) score 3, 2, 1, or PDN points. The Speedway World Cup (SWC) events all feature four countries, each with a team composed of five riders – four starters and a reserve. Each team races in one helmet colour, determined via a random draw.

Team 1 in RED will have PDNs 1-4 + R1 reserve - Team 2 in BLUE will have PDNs 5-8 + R2 reserve

Team 3 in WHITE will have PDNs 9-12 + R3 reserve - Team 4 in YELLOW will have PDNs 13-16 + R4 reserve.

As per the GPs and the SECs only the riders listed 1-16 will score PDN POINTS - Any reserve points scored will not count.
